AGAPE CLINIC, PUERTO VIEJO SARAPIQUI, COSTA RICA.  The first project in Costa Rica is envisioned to be a model primary health care clinic which can be replicated in other areas around the world with critical health care needs.  The clinic construction broke ground in June 2010 and is currently in process.  Our Clinic Administrator, Lilliana Rojas, has begun to go into the surrounding villages to meet the communities, gather base line family and medical information and help those with critical medical needs through access to medicine and community doctors and labs willing to help those in severe poverty.  Mission teams go from the US periodically to help with construction, take medical survey information, assist with health education such as hygiene and prenatal, work with the children through Vacation Bible School and work with a women's group established for Economic Development.  See Trips and Events to join us on our next trip.
